Arthur Clarke took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Camilo Freixa. Camilo Freixa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 27 minutes into the match, Bolivia's goal looked a bit too open when Huỳnh Mai came free, but Camilo Freixa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zumar Villabona might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Camilo Freixa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zumar Villabona ran back to his position shaking his head. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arthur Clarke in the 33rd minute of play. Zumar Villabona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Freixa having to interfere. Camilo Freixa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zumar Villabona went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mario Fernandino was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute, Arthur Clarke ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Camilo Freixa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Mario Fernandino charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mario Fernandino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Zumar Villabona scored 0-6 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Camilo Freixa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Huỳnh Mai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Zumar Villabona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Camilo Freixa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zumar Villabona in the 75th minute. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Zumar Villabona sped through Bolivia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Camilo Freixa. Ngô Tran kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. 86 minutes into the game, Arthur Clarke was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hai Duong's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bolivia the free kick. In the 86th match minute, Hai Duong was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arthur Clarke to maneuver through the defense. Huỳnh Mai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Bolivia's Francisco Gallo got a free kick in the 92nd minute. After having played for 93 minutes, Zumar Villabona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
