Jonathan Tabby was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jonathan Tabby made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Daniel Zorita scored 2-0 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Tabby, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 11 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Tabby was left in no man's land by his defense there! The throw-in from Felix Montenegro in the 15th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Punta Alvear's Justino Ederono. Daniel Zorita who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Tabby when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some careless play in the Punta Alvear defense, Agustín Saelices kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Tabby. The Punta Alvear fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Tabby should have stopped the shot. Epifanio Silvino hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Punta Alvear's Jonathan Tabby proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Punta Alvear from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Punta Alvear's Jonathan Tabby got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 29 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Tabby was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Montenegro got free with Jonathan Tabby in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonathan Tabby was a little too slow when Cristian Sancho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 8-0. In the 42nd minute, Felix Montenegro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Tabby was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. After 45 minutes of play, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro made it 10-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Tabby was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Epifanio Silvino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Tabby made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 11-0. The audience was convinced that Daniel Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Tabby was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 57th minute of play forced Punta Alvear's goalkeeper Jonathan Tabby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Tabby didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 13-0 was the resulting score. Jonathan Tabby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 64th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Tabby prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 76th minute, Juan Sebastián Puig made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Tabby. Punta Alvear's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 15-0. After some careless play in the Punta Alvear defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Tabby. The Punta Alvear fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Tabby should have stopped the shot. In the 82ndth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Punta Alvear's Jonathan Tabby was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Tabby. Punta Alvear's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 17-0. Jonathan Tabby showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 89th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Tabby was frozen by the shot and now it was 18-0. In the 94thth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Punta Alvear's Jonathan Tabby was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. There was no doubt that Ecuador were the better team. Ecuador's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
