Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Maximilian Johnsson started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nils-Erik Askelöf narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in HEJA ESLÖV's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nils-Erik Askelöf came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maximilian Johnsson struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for HEJA ESLÖV. Nils-Erik Askelöf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. HEJA ESLÖV's Nils-Erik Askelöf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 16th minute of play. Maximilian Johnsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as HEJA ESLÖV's Maximilian Johnsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julio Vera. That made the score 1-0 after 24 minutes of play. HEJA ESLÖV's Nils-Erik Askelöf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 27th minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of HEJA ESLÖV's Nils-Erik Askelöf. Nils-Erik Askelöf was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Camilo Gisbert hit a great ball. 38 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Maximilian Johnsson came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the game, HEJA ESLÖV's Maximilian Johnsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Agustín Saelices came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agustín Saelices couldn't finish the play. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Felix Montenegro notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of HEJA ESLÖV's Nils-Erik Askelöf. Nils-Erik Askelöf was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nils-Erik Askelöf made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. 58 minutes into the game, Jan-Ove Ferm was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. HEJA ESLÖV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. With a little luck, HEJA ESLÖV's Nils-Erik Askelöf got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 64th minute, which Nils-Erik Askelöf however easily saved by the left post. HEJA ESLÖV's Nils-Erik Askelöf proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save HEJA ESLÖV from getting a goal against them. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita came free and shot a quick shot against goal 70 minutes in the game, fortunately Nils-Erik Askelöf had problems saving as it came toward the left post. In the 71st minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. 80 minutes into the match, HEJA ESLÖV's goalkeeper Nils-Erik Askelöf had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Montenegro. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Nils-Erik Askelöf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils-Erik Askelöf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximilian Johnsson in the 93rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than HEJA ESLÖV.
