Tigres Ñacuñán FC's Eloy Mazuste played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 11th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Tigres Ñacuñán FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Eloy Mazuste reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Tigres Ñacuñán FC booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Rouco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Tigres Ñacuñán FC's Mariano Llorian got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Bergqvist in the 35th minute of play. Eloy Mazuste showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Eloy Mazuste tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Joel Gaona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christian Bergqvist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Christian Bergqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner ended in Ricardo Stephen almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa did a great save. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. But to his dismay, Christian Bergqvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 78 minutes into the match, Tigres Ñacuñán FC's Christian Bergqvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dante Lacasa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 81 minutes of play, Tigres Ñacuñán FC's Andres Pitin made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Lacasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eloy Mazuste made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 85th minute. Lautaro Mancebo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Eloy Mazuste firmly grabbed it by the left post. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Lautaro Mancebo advanced and headed the ball into goal, 2-2 in the 91st minute.
