Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Robby Woody started the match with the kick off. Iwan Grocholski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orlando Casaus in the 5th minute. Iwan Grocholski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute, Gafur Onat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th minute Francisco Alberto Zañartu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 14 minutes of play, La Academia's Robby Woody made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thiago Pliego was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mariano Lacasa in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iwan Grocholski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 20th play minute Mariano Lacasa came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Iwan Grocholski. 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Iwan Grocholski in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 25 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Robby Woody came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chile's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Maxín Bacarreza was slow to take the kick. During this time La Academia's players had a chance to rest. La Academia's Gong Peng Bo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Thiago Pliego in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Gong Peng Bo put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Thiago Pliego. La Academia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Mariano Lacasa scored to the left of an out of position Iwan Grocholski, making the score, 2-2. Putra Parios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute, Francisco Carballar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 37th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Tamayo to maneuver through the defense. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aaron Mazuste, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alan Tamayo charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alan Tamayo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Mariano Lacasa made the kick off in the second half. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robby Woody in the 51st minute of play. Thiago Pliego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robby Woody in the 53rd minute. In the 55th match minute, La Academia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Putra Parios to maneuver through the defense. Putra Parios kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 57th minute of the match Mariano Lacasa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Iwan Grocholski skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Chile's Gerardo Pozo got a free kick in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robby Woody in the 68th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the game, La Academia's Eric Sillén nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thiago Pliego made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. In the 74th minute of the match La Academia got a corner. Chile's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Maxín Bacarreza ran over to the corner to take the kick. Robby Woody could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Thiago Pliego made a huge save. Thiago Pliego stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robby Woody's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. La Academia's Iwan Grocholski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 78th minute of play. In the 82nd minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwan Grocholski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Mariano Lacasa came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Chile fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariano Lacasa couldn't finish the play. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robby Woody, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 92nd play minute Robby Woody came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Thiago Pliego. 2-4. When the final whistle sounded La Academia left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Chile.
