Zheng Rong blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dante Lacasa having to make a save. 7 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tobiasz Gniech. Moneteria's Boleslaw Majdoch quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Leonardo Leoz, made in the 8th minute of the game. Kacper Tobias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kacper Tobias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 12th minute of the match. Kacper Tobias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Kacper Tobias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Mexico booed when Moneteria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zheng Rong didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tobiasz Gniech in the 21st minute. In the 24th minute of the match Moneteria got a corner. Mexico's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fabian Mierzwa ran over to the corner to take the kick. Moneteria's Kacper Tobias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 29th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Alberto Tafalla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leonardo Leoz hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute Fabian Mierzwa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tobiasz Gniech received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dante Lacasa came out and tried to block the shot, but Tobiasz Gniech slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 38th minute. A collision led to Moneteria getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Tobiasz Gniech hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Moneteria's Tobiasz Gniech got a free kick in the 45th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Leonardo Leoz in the 46th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Moneteria's Boleslaw Majdoch. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

52 minutes into the match, Maciej Trynda notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 54th match minute, Moneteria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wiktor Ciempa to maneuver through the defense. Alberto Tafalla came free with the goalkeeper in the 55th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Kacper Tobias could save by the left post. Kacper Tobias made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Joel Gaona sent off a good shot on target. After 64 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Leoz. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maciej Trynda in the 67th minute of play. Moneteria made a substitution. Mai Yuan Bang replaced Konstanty Komornicki. A sloppy throw-in by Leonardo Leoz in the 79th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Moneteria's Boleslaw Majdoch. 82 minutes into the game, Lautaro Mancebo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Kacper Tobias was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Kacper Tobias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Moneteria's Maciej Trynda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dante Lacasa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maciej Trynda, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Waldemar Chojnacki hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Mexico's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
