Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. José Bomba started the match with the kick off. F.C. Paços de Ferreira's José Bomba got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 5 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when José Bomba came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Bomba might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joaquin Gayoso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. José Bomba ran back to his position shaking his head. 7 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when José Bomba came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by F.C. Paços de Ferreira's José Bomba. But to his dismay, José Bomba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Joaquin Gayoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of José Bomba's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Bomba in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute, José Bomba left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The F.C. Paços de Ferreira fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Francisco Seco came free with the goalkeeper in the 21st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Miguel Poças could save by the left post. Uruguay's Francisco Seco was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Miguel Poças in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 23 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Covarrubias. 29 minutes into the match, F.C. Paços de Ferreira's goalkeeper Miguel Poças had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maximiliano Escribano. Miguel Poças showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 32nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Jorge Sainz got a free kick in the 35th minute. When Maximiliano Escribano came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Uruguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximiliano Escribano couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 0-3 when José Bomba sped through Uruguay's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from José Bomba went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. If José Bomba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Joaquin Gayoso was a little too slow when Bóas Pernas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 51st minute. The score was now 0-5. Joaquin Gayoso was out of position in the 56 minute of play, and José Bomba capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. José Bomba really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. José Bomba who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Joaquin Gayoso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jorge Sainz kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Uruguay's goalkeeper couldn't reach when José Bomba 66 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-7. Miguel Poças showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 74th minute of play forced F.C. Paços de Ferreira's goalkeeper Miguel Poças to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, F.C. Paços de Ferreira's Bóas Pernas got a free kick in the 74th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicolae Hoisie during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 78 minutes into the match, Uruguay's Francisco Seco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Miguel Poças narrowly saved just below the crossbar. José Bomba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 88th match minute, F.C. Paços de Ferreira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hong Xi Bin to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso got control of the ball when José Bomba tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched F.C. Paços de Ferreira eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
