Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kalle Billberg in the 12th minute. Poetass FC's José Maria Goiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute Venezuela were awarded a corner. Tomas Illescas went to the cornerflag to take it. Tomas Illescas made a great header on Venezuela's corner, it was just that Poetass FC's José Maria Goiano managed to reach the ball for a save. Zeng Xu Yuan hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Witalis Brysz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Witalis Brysz made a kick off. In the 50th minute, Kalle Billberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 52 minutes, Witalis Brysz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Poetass FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Witalis Brysz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Poetass FC's José Maria Goiano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Poetass FC from getting a goal against them. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Kalle Billberg sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Kalle Billberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with José Maria Goiano in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Poetass FC made a substitution. Cleiton Carioca replaced Vicente Heidemann. In the 72nd minute, Jonathan Venegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jon-Egil Schjelderup, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kalle Billberg's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Poetass FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
