Milagro Sobre Césped's supporters rose to their feet, but Benedicto Sandaili was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The Milagro Sobre Césped fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when Milagro Sobre Césped's Teofilo Cefero looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Noel Seide took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Cefero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Milagro Sobre Césped were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jonathan Alphonse made a kick off. The supporters of Milagro Sobre Césped booed when Haiti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernso Constant didn't get a good kick on the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Matias Paelemans in the 62nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Haiti's Raymond Louis. Milagro Sobre Césped's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
