Vasile Arsenescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 26th minute of play. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matei Tender, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Marcos Cotilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matei Tender in the 31st minute. After 32 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Ros. Nae Costin was extremely unlucky when he, in the 35th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. 42 minutes into the game, Cipanul FC's Nae Costin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcos Cotilla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 46th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Cambeiro to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nae Costin to make the kick off. Nae Costin charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nae Costin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Cipanul FC's Nae Costin got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Cipanul FC's Nae Costin. But to his dismay, Nae Costin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. With a little luck, Cipanul FC's Vasile Arsenescu got control of the ball when Abraham Alguacil tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 61st match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Berganza to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vasile Arsenescu having to interfere. Miguel Miralles's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vasile Arsenescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matei Tender in the 69th minute of play. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Matthew Garrido hit a great ball. Raúl Gonzáles might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcos Cotilla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Raúl Gonzáles ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 76th minute Valer Popete shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Panama's zone, Raúl Gonzáles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal and Raúl Gonzáles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nae Costin, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nae Costin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cipanul FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
