Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) A hard shot 3 in the game by Francisco Seco from a close distance when the talented Claus Pratter managed to make a qualified save. FC Lugano's players were relieved. When Alberto Gisbert came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Uruguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Gisbert couldn't finish the play. Claus Pratter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Seco in the 5th minute. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Arturo Carvallo got a free kick in the 10th minute. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Palmiro Brennwald in the 12th minute of play. In the 15th play minute Francisco Seco came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Claus Pratter. 1-0. In the 19th minute of the match Jaime Cazalla sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Claus Pratter skillfully saved the ball. A throw-in in the 21st minute of the game was made by Jorge Sainz with Francisco Seco as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Seco got free with Claus Pratter in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Francisco Seco's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Claus Pratter skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 24th match minute, FC Lugano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fedor Adler to maneuver through the defense. Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC Lugano's Claus Pratter proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save FC Lugano from getting a goal against them. Claus Pratter came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Uruguay's Francisco Seco. But to his dismay, Francisco Seco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Matteo Gartenmann's late challenge caught a Uruguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matteo Gartenmann helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Uruguay booed when FC Lugano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matteo Gartenmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute, Jaime Cazalla sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FC Lugano's Claus Pratter didn't even have to move. Claus Pratter made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Francisco Seco sent off a good shot on target. 37 minutes into the match, Francisco Seco notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of FC Lugano's Claus Pratter. Claus Pratter was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 41 minutes into the match, FC Lugano's goalkeeper Claus Pratter had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Seco. Francisco Seco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Claus Pratter made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Francisco Seco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claus Pratter was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. 47 minutes into the game, Uruguay's Francisco Seco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claus Pratter made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Francisco Seco made a kick off. After 55 minutes, Alberto Gisbert mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Uruguay and the FC Lugano players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alberto Gisbert hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Francisco Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claus Pratter having to interfere. 60 minutes in the game Jorge Sainz did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Francisco Seco. Maximiliano Escribano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Claus Pratter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Francisco Seco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Claus Pratter was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. In the 68th minute, Francisco Seco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Uruguay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Claus Pratter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Seco in the 71st minute of the match. In the 72nd minute Francisco Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claus Pratter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arturo Carvallo made in the 75th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC Lugano's Tito Waechter. Francisco Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Claus Pratter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 79 minutes into the game, Francisco Seco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Claus Pratter was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Claus Pratter came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Uruguay's Francisco Seco. But to his dismay, Francisco Seco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. Claus Pratter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Gisbert in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute Francisco Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claus Pratter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arturo Carvallo made in the 88th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Alberto Gisbert immediately put the ball in play. Arturo Carvallo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Claus Pratter. FC Lugano's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. FC Lugano's Fidelio Haller managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Arturo Carvallo in the 97 minute of the game. Uruguay walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
