The referee ignored Mexico's protests and gave Alberto Tafalla a yellow card for diving instead. In the 46th minute, Alberto Tafalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Gaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The FC Psihopel BM-MM- fans cheered their team off the field, for while Mexico had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
