In the 10th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saadettin Başesgi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by Eflani SK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edmundo Espiga was slow to take the kick. During this time Honduras's players had a chance to rest. Christian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Saadettin Başesgi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. Sebastian Villa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eflani SK's Saadettin Başesgi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 22nd minute of play. Edmundo Espiga took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Saadettin Başesgi. Saadettin Başesgi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Edmundo Espiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Christian Sancho got a free kick in the 27th minute. Saadettin Başesgi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saadettin Başesgi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bektaş Ali Çelenkoğlu took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 40th minute of play forced Eflani SK's goalkeeper Saadettin Başesgi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the game, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Saadettin Başesgi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmundo Espiga to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Eflani SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Acácio Kafadar to maneuver through the defense. After 52 played minutes Sebastian Villa rounded Eflani SK's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-3. Saadettin Başesgi was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and Edmundo Espiga capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edmundo Espiga really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bektaş Ali Çelenkoğlu in the 62nd minute of play. Eflani SK's Saadettin Başesgi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Eflani SK from getting a goal against them. In the 73rd minute, Dilaver Topçam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81stth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Eflani SK's Saadettin Başesgi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sebastian Villa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. İlkan Bircan kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Saadettin Başesgi was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Edmundo Espiga. 88 minutes into the match, Sebastian Villa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Saadettin Başesgi. Eflani SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sebastian Villa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. Saadettin Başesgi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by İlkan Bircan during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A long shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 95th minute of play was well struck, but Saadettin Başesgi made a really good save at the right post.
