Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Oier in the 2nd minute of play. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frederik Dams in the 8th minute of the match. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frederik Dams in the 11th minute of play. 12 minutes in the game David Cordarrol did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Süleyman Seba. In the 14th minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bianco Altobelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute, Julian Murillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frederik Dams, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Oier came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bianco Altobelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luz Tejedor, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bianco Sforza in the 30th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Cordarrol made in the 35th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Süleyman Seba immediately put the ball in play. Julian Murillo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Bianco Altobelli when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 40th minute of the match Peru got a corner. Lupi Grigi's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. David Cordarrol got a throw-in 45 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Süleyman Seba. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Julian Murillo took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Bianco Altobelli to make any attempt to save it.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frederik Dams stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Oier in the 51st minute of play. In the 60th minute, Julian Murillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bianco Altobelli was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Bianco Altobelli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julian Murillo went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Lupi Grigi made a substitution. Carlo Puddu replaced Frederik Dams. Elia Gismondi lost his temper 73 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After a rather tough play, Lupi Grigi's Elia Gismondi got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 75th minute of the match Joaquin Prats shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bianco Altobelli showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Carlo Puddu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lupi Grigi made a substitution. Concetto Marcelli replaced Teobaldo Cordarin. Felix Oier struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Rolando Noboa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lupi Grigi. In the 83rd minute, Peru's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Süleyman Seba fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Peru's Rafael Gallo in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lupi Grigi's goalie prevented a goal. Carlo Puddu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. Bianco Altobelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Gallo in the 92nd minute of play. Rafael Gallo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bianco Altobelli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Carlo Puddu scored 3-2 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rolando Noboa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
