Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Kent Ekerot got the match started through his kick off. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filip Şneapotă in the 3rd minute of the match. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Filip Şneapotă went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Bergby BF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Håkan Skålberg in the 9th minute. In the 10th minute, Luis Andino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wasyl Lap was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wasyl Lap having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Kent Ekerot ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kent Ekerot's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Wasyl Lap made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 25th minute. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wasyl Lap having to interfere. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wasyl Lap took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Kent Ekerot came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Celsinho Capixaba during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Bergby BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celsinho Capixaba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wasyl Lap read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. In the 46th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Bergby BF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. After the first half Bergby BF were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Luis Andino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wasyl Lap made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luis Andino during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Luis Andino hit a great ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. After having played for 59 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldir Camargo, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 66 minutes into the game, Håkan Skålberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bergby BF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. In the 66th minute, Håkan Skålberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 67 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Sancho. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kent Ekerot in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 73 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Kent Ekerot came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Waldir Camargo struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bergby BF. Wasyl Lap made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 78th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Bergby BF's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Wasyl Lap reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 89 minutes of play, Bergby BF's Kent Ekerot made it 3-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Wasyl Lap showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When the final whistle went the supporters of Bergby BF were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Ecuador side.
