After 20 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Alex Cambeiro. Isidoro Sarmiento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sayan Kitiwinit in the 28th minute of the match. Paiboon Permpol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 35th minute of the match. After 38 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Alex Cambeiro. Thani Mettarikanon who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Marcos Cotilla when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 94 minutes into the match, Isidoro Sarmiento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paiboon Permpol. Sheffield FC1857's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isidoro Sarmiento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3.
