Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Rob Kort showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Biervliet's goalkeeper Rob Kort, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 15 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rob Kort, 1-0. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip de Vries in the 21st minute of play. Rob Kort came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Felix Montenegro. But to his dismay, Felix Montenegro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Ecuador's Agustín Saelices got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rob Kort made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 33rd minute. With a little luck, Biervliet's Rob Kort got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Daniel Zorita, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 37 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Rob Kort was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 39 minutes into the match, Biervliet's goalkeeper Rob Kort had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. After 43 played minutes Biervliet got a freekick which was hit by Bart Pik. After 44 minutes of play, Ecuador's Luis Andino made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rob Kort was left in no man's land by his defense there! 48 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rob Kort made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Rob Kort took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rob Kort prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Biervliet's Rob Kort played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 68th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Biervliet's Henry Bakker was substituted for Bart Pik. In the 75th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Andino to maneuver through the defense. 80 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Luis Andino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rob Kort made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Rob Kort tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
