Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kachakon Vibulpan took the kick off in the first half of the match. Sayan Kitiwinit who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Benito Sanz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Sayan Kitiwinit stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Sayan Kitiwinit tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kachakon Vibulpan in the 16th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Gavril Stejaru came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 20 minutes Costa Rica's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sakdipat Klangprapan who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Sheffield FC1857's corner Sakdipat Klangprapan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Benito Sanz quite easily take care of the ball. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kachakon Vibulpan in the 22nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Sayan Kitiwinit's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Sheffield FC1857's Thiradet Jutaviriya got a free kick in the 61st minute. Thani Mettarikanon hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. When Sheffield FC1857's Sayan Kitiwinit in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 90th minute, Kachakon Vibulpan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. Sayan Kitiwinit blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. Kachakon Vibulpan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sheffield FC1857 had played much better football throughout.
