Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavril Stejaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kachakon Vibulpan in the 5th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kachakon Vibulpan succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 5th playminute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tawai Thanomnam in the 8th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thani Mettarikanon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Zorita having to interfere. With a little luck, El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita got control of the ball when Sayan Kitiwinit tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thiradet Jutaviriya could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Ricardo Zorita made a huge save. Sheffield FC1857's Paiboon Permpol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Fernandino in the 17th minute of play. Ricardo Zorita was a little too slow when Gavril Stejaru got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in El Salvador's zone, Gavril Stejaru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Zorita came out of the goal and Gavril Stejaru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ricardo Zorita made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sayan Kitiwinit in the 26th minute. Sayan Kitiwinit could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Ricardo Zorita made a huge save. Thani Mettarikanon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute Kachakon Vibulpan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Sheffield FC1857's goal looked a bit too open when Mateo Leguizamo came free, but Paiboon Permpol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gavril Stejaru in the 46th minute of play. 48 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Kachakon Vibulpan came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kachakon Vibulpan to strike the kick off in the second half. Marco Tamayo kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sayan Kitiwinit in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ricardo Zorita saved El Salvador from getting behind. When Sheffield FC1857's Sayan Kitiwinit in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye El Salvador's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of El Salvador booed when Sheffield FC1857 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charoensook Pingyos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Moises Fernandino's late challenge caught a Sheffield FC1857's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Moises Fernandino helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Moises Fernandino got a free kick in the 61st minute. After 62 minutes of play, Sheffield FC1857's Gavril Stejaru made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Zorita was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Kachakon Vibulpan in the 68th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gavril Stejaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in El Salvador's zone, Sayan Kitiwinit stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Zorita came out of the goal and Sayan Kitiwinit tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sayan Kitiwinit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Ricardo Zorita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sayan Kitiwinit in the 75th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jesus Carvallo hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. When Tawai Thanomnam came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Sheffield FC1857 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tawai Thanomnam couldn't finish the play. Jesus Carvallo's late challenge caught a Sheffield FC1857's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jesus Carvallo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Jesus Carvallo hit a great ball. Kachakon Vibulpan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Moises Fernandino might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paiboon Permpol. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Moises Fernandino ran back to his position shaking his head. 87 minutes into the match, Sayan Kitiwinit had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sayan Kitiwinit was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kachakon Vibulpan in the 92nd minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gavril Stejaru blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ricardo Zorita having to make a save. Sheffield FC1857 walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
