Julian Murillo started the match with the kick off. Bianco Altobelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 5th minute of play. Lupi Grigi's Bianco Altobelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 9th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Lupi Grigi's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Bianco Altobelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute, Julian Murillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 16th minute of play forced Lupi Grigi's goalkeeper Bianco Altobelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Oier. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Julian Murillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bianco Altobelli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. Julian Murillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Bianco Altobelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bianco Altobelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Mina in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lupi Grigi's goalkeeper Bianco Altobelli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lupi Grigi's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Peru's corner Luz Tejedor fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bianco Altobelli quite easily take care of the ball. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Oier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lupi Grigi's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fulvio De Marco in the 37th minute. Lupi Grigi's Fulvio De Marco was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rolando Noboa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Moises Gayoso got a throw-in 43 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Joaquin Prats. Milagros Fraga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bianco Altobelli having to interfere. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Felix Oier sent off a good shot on target. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frederik Dams was the one to do the kick off. Peru's Efraim Gilabert pulled a muscle in his leg after 50 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Felix Oier's late challenge caught a Peru's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felix Oier helped the player get up and apologised. Felix Oier kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After 52 minutes, David Cordarrol mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lupi Grigi and the Peru players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 55th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Eliseo Mina heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Lupi Grigi's Carlo Puddu was substituted for Frederik Dams. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luz Tejedor got free with Bianco Altobelli in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bianco Altobelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anthony Alvarado's late challenge caught a Lupi Grigi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anthony Alvarado helped the player get up and apologised. After 76 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Anthony Alvarado. The supporters of Lupi Grigi booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthony Alvarado didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute of the match Bianco Sforza shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rolando Noboa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rolando Noboa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bianco Sforza went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Bianco Altobelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 82nd minute of the match. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. 85 minutes into the game, Süleyman Seba threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Bianco Altobelli made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Julian Murillo sent off a good shot on target. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lupi Grigi's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Julian Murillo was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. In the 93rd minute, Julian Murillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
