Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Suwon Wanderers's Kaj Kruuse got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After having played for 6 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Mancebo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 9 minutes of play, Mexico's Joel Gaona made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yan de Sousa was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 14th minute of the match, Lautaro Mancebo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Yan de Sousa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Mexico's Luca Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 20th minute, Kaj Kruuse ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After some careless play in the Suwon Wanderers defense, Alberto Tafalla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yan de Sousa. The Suwon Wanderers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yan de Sousa should have stopped the shot. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 32nd minute. The corner led to Mexico's Facundo Cadaval getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Yan de Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After 38 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Leoz. In the 41st minute of the match, Lautaro Mancebo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Yan de Sousa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 43 minutes into the game, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yan de Sousa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Leonardo Leoz made in the 46th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Lautaro Mancebo immediately put the ball in play. In the 47th match minute, Suwon Wanderers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zula Osielski to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ignacy Czempa to strike the kick off in the second half. 김 견 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Suwon Wanderers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Suwon Wanderers's goalie and right to Luca Rouco. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Suwon Wanderers's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 65th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yan de Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yan de Sousa came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Joel Gaona. But to his dismay, Joel Gaona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Yan de Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. From close distance 김 견 pressed in the 4-2 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 70 minutes into the game. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 김 견, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes into the match, Suwon Wanderers's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Yan de Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mexico's Luca Zorita pulled a muscle in his back after 90 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 조 표 during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Mexico booed when Suwon Wanderers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. 조 표 didn't get a good kick on the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Mexico fully deserved thier win.
