Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nils-Åke Kinnman went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Axel Montenegro in the 14thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mito Troyanov, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Axel Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colombia's supporters rose to their feet, but Axel Montenegro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mito Troyanov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sänningstjärns BK's goalkeeper Mito Troyanov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Colombia's attentive Kevin Mastache managed to snatch the ball when Anselmo Gaizko made a throw-in in the 20th minute of the game. In the 22nd minute Hans Benedict shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sänningstjärns BK's Thomas Örn got a free kick in the 26th minute. The supporters of Colombia booed when Sänningstjärns BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anselmo Gaizko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mito Troyanov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 28th minute. 33 minutes into the match, Sänningstjärns BK's goalkeeper Mito Troyanov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Montenegro. In the 37th minute Gitano Adán shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Sänningstjärns BK's goalkeeper Mito Troyanov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Montenegro. 46 minutes into the game, Axel Montenegro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mito Troyanov. Axel Montenegro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Nils-Åke Kinnman made the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, Colombia's Axel Montenegro made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mito Troyanov was left in no man's land by his defense there! Abram Sarmiento's late challenge caught a Sänningstjärns BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abram Sarmiento helped the player get up and apologised. Sänningstjärns BK made a substitution. Knut Olsson replaced 姚阳风. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. 68 minutes into the match, Sänningstjärns BK's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Mastache came free, but Mito Troyanov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 3-1 became the score in the 69th minute when Kevin Mastache elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 78 played minutes Sänningstjärns BK got a freekick which was hit by Severo Dino. Sänningstjärns BK's Stig-Ove Melin was substituted for André Holmberg. In the 80th minute Kevin Mastache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mito Troyanov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ignacio Mastache in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mito Troyanov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hans Benedict let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 85th minute shot 3-2 at rihgt post. 89 minutes into the match, Andrei Shevchenko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andrei Shevchenko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. When Santino Seco fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Colombia's protests and gave Santino Seco a yellow card for diving instead.
