Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Rangers FC's Danny Gilespie started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Rangers FC's Fergus Fairbairn got control of the ball when Jaime Pardo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Connor Alsop in the 6th minute of the match. In the 10th match minute, Rangers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Darius Bontine to maneuver through the defense. A sloppy throw-in by Connor Alsop in the 13th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Paraguay's Xavier Zoido. In the 15th minute, Paraguay's Jaime Pardo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After some careless play in the Rangers FC defense, Jaime Pardo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fergus Fairbairn. The Rangers FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fergus Fairbairn should have stopped the shot. Jacobo Nores stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Danny Gilespie's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Hector Covarrubias took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fergus Fairbairn. Fergus Fairbairn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. A collision led to Rangers FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Danny Gilespie hit a great ball. Fergus Fairbairn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Covarrubias in the 29th minute of the match. Darius Bontine's late challenge caught a Paraguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Darius Bontine helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Rangers FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Darius Bontine hit a great ball. Jaime Pardo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fergus Fairbairn. Rangers FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Paraguay getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Ivan Prats hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danny Gilespie in the 34th minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fergus Fairbairn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jaime Pardo went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Hector Covarrubias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Fergus Fairbairn made a huge save. 42 minutes into the match, Hector Covarrubias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fergus Fairbairn. Rangers FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hector Covarrubias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0.

In the 54th minute, Jaime Pardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 57 played minutes Rangers FC got a freekick which was hit by Tim Charles. Fergus Fairbairn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Primitivo Escribano went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. When Iker Tafalla fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paraguay's protests and gave Iker Tafalla a yellow card for diving instead. In the 68th minute, Iker Tafalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 71 minutes into the match, Primitivo Escribano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fergus Fairbairn. Rangers FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Primitivo Escribano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. A collision led to Rangers FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Danny Gilespie hit a great ball. Fergus Fairbairn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Covarrubias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fergus Fairbairn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Pardo in the 75th minute of play. Fergus Fairbairn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Pardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Covarrubias in the 93rd minute of play forced Rangers FC's goalkeeper Fergus Fairbairn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Paraguay players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
