Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off. Zlatko Ibrahimović received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kim Hänninen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joel Gaona's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. After 6 minutes, Joel Gaona made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Fragleses's Kim Hänninen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Mexico's zone, Conrado Cardozo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal and Conrado Cardozo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 15th minute, Conrado Cardozo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fragleses's Roch Dejo suffered a sore knee after 18 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Fragleses made a substitution. Grzegorz Rasiak replaced Roch Dejo. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Macos Graciani hit a great ball. In the 31st minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kim Hänninen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Joel Gaona's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kim Hänninen was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. In a very dangerous position, a player in Fragleses fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 40th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Mexico a penalty, 41 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Joel Gaona, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Fragleses's Kim Hänninen. 0-4. In the 46th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kim Hänninen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 47 minutes, Zlatko Ibrahimović mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fragleses and the Mexico players grew even worse after the yellow card. Zlatko Ibrahimović kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zlatko Ibrahimović to make the kick off. Kim Hänninen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 53rd minute of play. In the 56th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Macos Graciani to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th minute of the match Haralampi Smrikarov sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dante Lacasa skillfully saved the ball. A throw-in in the 60th minute of the game was made by Macos Graciani with Alberto Tafalla as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After some careless play in the Fragleses defense, Lautaro Mancebo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kim Hänninen. The Fragleses fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kim Hänninen should have stopped the shot. In the 66th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Mexico's corner Joel Gaona fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kim Hänninen quite easily take care of the ball. Kim Hänninen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 83rd minute. The corner ended in Joel Gaona almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Fragleses's Kim Hänninen did a great save. In the 89th minute of the game Macos Graciani made a throw-in which Joel Gaona played forward. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Mexico walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
