Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Danny Gilespie made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute, Stevie McGilvray got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Mario Fernandino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bolivia's supporters rose to their feet, but Mario Fernandino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fergus Fairbairn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Rangers FC booed when Bolivia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejandro Villa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th minute, Ronan McLaws hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stevie McGilvray fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Freixa having to interfere. Danny Gilespie came free with the goalkeeper in the 21st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Camilo Freixa could save by the left post. A sloppy throw-in by Tim Charles in the 27th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Bolivia's Francisco Gallo. Camilo Freixa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angus Howison in the 30th minute of the match. When Rangers FC's Danny Gilespie in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bolivia's goalie prevented a goal. 36 minutes into the game, Tim Charles was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rangers FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bolivia the free kick. Tim Charles kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Camilo Freixa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Danny Gilespie in the 41st minute. In the 41st minute, Alfonso de la Cruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute, Tim Charles fired a really elegant long shot, but Camilo Freixa threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. If Stevie McGilvray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Alfonso de la Cruz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Fergus Fairbairn made a huge save. In the 54th minute, Danny Gilespie left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rangers FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 59 minutes, Benito Madrid mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bolivia and the Rangers FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Bolivia's Benito Madrid got a free kick in the 60th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Rangers FC's Tim Charles broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Angus Howison received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Camilo Freixa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Bolivia getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Alejandro Villa hit a great ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 67th minute of the game. One of Bolivia:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Rangers FC:s goal. After 75 minutes of play, Rangers FC's Danny Gilespie made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Camilo Freixa was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 88th minute Eduardo Fontirroig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fergus Fairbairn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Fontirroig in the 91st minute of play forced Rangers FC's goalkeeper Fergus Fairbairn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute, Angus Howison left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rangers FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Angus Howison recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Rangers FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Bolivia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
