Durval Aparecido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Egon Isaksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 12th minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guilherme Zanette saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12thth minute of the game Abram Sarmiento who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s Guilherme Zanette was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Durval Aparecido struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Pedro Manzanares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆. 17 minutes into the match, Abram Sarmiento notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s Guilherme Zanette. Guilherme Zanette was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s Durval Aparecido. But to his dismay, Durval Aparecido quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Durval Aparecido's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Robert Serwacki got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pedro Manzanares quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Luis Cazalla got a free kick in the 31st minute. When Luis Cazalla fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Colombia's protests and gave Luis Cazalla a yellow card for diving instead. Durval Aparecido blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Manzanares having to make a save. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Durval Aparecido sent off a good shot on target. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s André Luís Zanette was substituted for Durval Aparecido. ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆ made a substitution. Wambasther Sneijder replaced Cláudio Caniggia. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abram Sarmiento was the one to do the kick off. Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from André Luís Zanette went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆ booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Tafalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s Guilherme Zanette got control of the ball when Axel Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 71st minute, André Luís Zanette ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Manzanares was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. Antonio Indiano made in the 76th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Kevin Mastache however managed to control. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aldo Munio during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 91st minute, Aldo Munio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Luís Zanette, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s Robert Serwacki was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pedro Manzanares in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆ had won after a very even match.
