Pedro Indiano hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Serafin Criston to make the kick off. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abel Reyes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Serafin Criston tried to sneak it across the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, C.A.P.J.'s goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Abel Reyes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of C.A.P.J.'s Abel Reyes. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abel Reyes having to make a save. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafin Criston in the 77th minute of play.
