Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Danny Gilespie took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Rangers FC's zone, Finlay Stair stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fergus Fairbairn came out of the goal and Finlay Stair tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Finlay Stair put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Fergus Fairbairn. Rangers FC's Fergus Fairbairn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karlus Waugh in the 7th minute of play. After 8 minutes Rangers FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Finlay Stair who took care of the corner kick. Ronan McLaws charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ronan McLaws the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 11th match minute, Rangers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronan McLaws to maneuver through the defense. After 12 minutes, Bradley Carr mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rangers FC and the Jamaica players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Jamaica booed when Rangers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bradley Carr didn't get a good kick on the ball. Romon Oliver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bradley Carr got his second yellow card in the match during the 19th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Rangers FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Bradley Carr hit a great ball. Fergus Fairbairn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karlus Waugh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Jamaica's Romon Oliver got a free kick in the 23rd minute. If Ron McLeish had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, Angus Howison ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Demonde Jacobson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gary Gowan in the 30th minute of play. Jarell Hill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fergus Fairbairn having to interfere. When Finlay Stair came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Jamaica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Finlay Stair couldn't finish the play. 38 minutes into the game, Angus Howison was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rangers FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jamaica the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jarell Hill in the 40th minute of play forced Rangers FC's goalkeeper Fergus Fairbairn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the game, Finlay Stair recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fergus Fairbairn. Finlay Stair showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 57th minute, Karlus Waugh made a precise shot to the right of Fergus Fairbairn. Rangers FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. In the 60th match minute, Jamaica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romon Oliver to maneuver through the defense. Demonde Jacobson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ron McLeish in the 64th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Rangers FC's Ron McLeish slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Demonde Jacobson. That made the score 3-2 after 68 minutes of play. Danny Gilespie could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Demonde Jacobson made a huge save. Rangers FC were furious when Ronan McLaws was red carded, 74 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 76th minute there was a penalty for Jamaica. Finlay Stair stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Fergus Fairbairn. 4-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Finlay Stair managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jamaica's supporters rose to their feet, but Finlay Stair was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fergus Fairbairn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Rangers FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Stevie McGilvray hit a great ball. After 98 played minutes Jamaica got a freekick which was hit by Romon Oliver. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Jamaica had won after a very even match.
