The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 41st minute of the game. One of Honduras:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of 巴黎圣日尔曼:s goal. Honduras:s Lautaro Navarro showed great skill when he stopped Adrian Chorche:s penalty. 莫天勇 took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for 庞城梁 to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 庞城梁 in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lautaro Navarro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of 巴黎圣日尔曼 booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honduras's players were relieved. 88 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when 庞城梁 came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute 巴黎圣日尔曼 were awarded a corner. Gao Xiang Tian went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Eduard Răduț got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lautaro Navarro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 91st minute of the match 巴黎圣日尔曼 got a corner. Honduras's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gao Xiang Tian ran over to the corner to take the kick. 93 minutes into the game, 庞城梁 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Lautaro Navarro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
