In the 9th minute Venezuela were awarded a corner. Tomas Illescas went to the cornerflag to take it. Tomas Illescas made a great header on Venezuela's corner, it was just that Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Francesco Marines managed to reach the ball for a save. After some careless play in the Quetzal Flyers Hammers defense, Tomas Illescas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Francesco Marines. The Quetzal Flyers Hammers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Francesco Marines should have stopped the shot. The Quetzal Flyers Hammers fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Sonny Perkins looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 23 minutes into the match, Sonny Perkins notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. In the 39thth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Francesco Marines was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 47 minutes, Jonathan Ferrant successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.

Quetzal Flyers Hammers made a substitution. Alexander Biörnberg replaced Antoni Majusiak. Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Frank Lampard was substituted for Melker Bergdal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sonny Perkins to make the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Sonny Perkins tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 86th minute Sonny Perkins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sonny Perkins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Quetzal Flyers Hammers walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
