In the 8th minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gong Ying Zheng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, VC zoetwater's goal looked a bit too open when Luz Tejedor came free, but Gong Ying Zheng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Eliseo Mina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When VC zoetwater's Bernardo Sharkin in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind VC zoetwater's goalkeeper Gong Ying Zheng, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Sharkin, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 21st minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gong Ying Zheng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. VC zoetwater's Gong Ying Zheng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Mina in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute of the match Peru got a corner. VC zoetwater's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. VC zoetwater's Gong Ying Zheng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 35th minute of play. Gong Ying Zheng came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Julian Murillo. But to his dismay, Julian Murillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind VC zoetwater's goalkeeper Gong Ying Zheng, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, VC zoetwater's Dariusz Zembrzuski got a free kick in the 39th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Gusztáv Bács came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gong Ying Zheng prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Patrik Olsson in the 46th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julian Murillo to strike the kick off in the second half. Joaquin Prats kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gong Ying Zheng prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 61 minutes, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Murillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gusztáv Bács in the 63rd minute of play. Milagros Fraga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gong Ying Zheng having to interfere. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İbrahim Efe Akarsu in the 67th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Dariusz Zembrzuski in the 69th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Gong Ying Zheng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 69th minute of the match. When Bernardo Sharkin, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 75 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Rolando Noboa was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. VC zoetwater's Fabien Pardons was substituted for Gusztáv Bács. In the 79th minute of the match Peru got a corner. VC zoetwater's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Dariusz Zembrzuski made in the 87th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Patrik Olsson immediately put the ball in play. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Rafael Gallo took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Gong Ying Zheng to make any attempt to save it.
