Gong Ying Zheng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joshua Garrido, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Mastache in the 17th minute of play forced VC zoetwater's goalkeeper Gong Ying Zheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute Bernardo Sharkin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gong Ying Zheng was a little too slow when Axel Montenegro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abram Sarmiento to make the kick off. Gong Ying Zheng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 51st minute of the match. 55 minutes into the match, Axel Montenegro notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of VC zoetwater's Gong Ying Zheng. Gong Ying Zheng was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabien Pardons, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabien Pardons went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-5 was the resulting score. In the 87th minute Bernardo Sharkin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardo Sharkin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out.
