Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6thth minute of the game Delmar Ubelteso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmar Ubelteso in the 8th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victoriano Eneto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 16 minutes ★ Idεɭcαp FC ツ★ u21's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Sergio Jerrold kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. The corner led ★ Idεɭcαp FC ツ★ u21's Juan-Román Riquelme to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 21stth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ★ Idεɭcαp FC ツ★ u21's Victoriano Eneto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Benito Frances charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benito Frances the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 33rd minute, Benito Frances hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 39th minute of play forced ★ Idεɭcαp FC ツ★ u21's goalkeeper Victoriano Eneto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 40 played minutes ★ Idεɭcαp FC ツ★ u21 got a freekick which was hit by Silvestre Elodio. Virgilio Piarres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. 47 minutes had been played when some careless play by ★ Idεɭcαp FC ツ★ u21's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Delmar Ubelteso made a kick off. With a little luck, ★ Idεɭcαp FC ツ★ u21's Victoriano Eneto got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, ★ Idεɭcαp FC ツ★ u21's Benito Frances got a free kick in the 58th minute. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Victoriano Eneto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victoriano Eneto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. ★ Idεɭcαp FC ツ★ u21's Gaston Librado got his second yellow card of the match in the 68th minute. The referee ordered Gaston Librado off the ground. The supporters of Ecuador booed when ★ Idεɭcαp FC ツ★ u21 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaston Librado didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in ★ Idεɭcαp FC ツ★ u21's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victoriano Eneto came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Victoriano Eneto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luis Andino in the 77th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Daniel Zorita slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Victoriano Eneto. That made the score 1-1 after 80 minutes of play. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victoriano Eneto having to interfere. After 86 minutes, Virgilio Piarres mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ★ Idεɭcαp FC ツ★ u21 and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, ★ Idεɭcαp FC ツ★ u21's Virgilio Piarres got a free kick in the 86th minute. Luis Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Ecuador booed when ★ Idεɭcαp FC ツ★ u21 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delmar Ubelteso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ecuador were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
