Evelio Sasoin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. When Gualterio Jayvier came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the CENTAURO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gualterio Jayvier couldn't finish the play. Evelio Sasoin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 9 minutes, Hector Covarrubias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paraguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hector Covarrubias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Primitivo Escribano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Iker Abalos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hector Covarrubias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by CENTAURO's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jaime Pardo was slow to take the kick. During this time Paraguay's players had a chance to rest. Pastor Valery tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Iker Abalos. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-0 in the 19th minute. Angel Abella hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jaime Pardo got free with Iker Abalos in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 24th match minute, CENTAURO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eloy Mannuel to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute Gualterio Jayvier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualterio Jayvier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angel Abella might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacobo Nores. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Angel Abella ran back to his position shaking his head. When Evelio Sasoin came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the CENTAURO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evelio Sasoin couldn't finish the play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

CENTAURO's Victorio Argoitz was substituted for Angel Abella. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Evelio Sasoin made a kick off. Hector Covarrubias might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iker Abalos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hector Covarrubias ran back to his position shaking his head. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evelio Sasoin in the 55th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Evelio Sasoin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacobo Nores was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. CENTAURO's Ramiro Estefan was substituted for Eloy Mannuel. Jaime Pardo struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Iker Abalos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paraguay. After 71 played minutes CENTAURO got a freekick which was hit by Amado Sergi. Evelio Sasoin took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After having played for 87 minutes, Jaime Pardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paraguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaime Pardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to CENTAURO getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Amado Sergi hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Paraguay's zone, Victorio Argoitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal and Victorio Argoitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
