Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Axel Tasis started the match with the kick off. AnÐaRaHy's Zé Carlos Vargas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 3rd minute of play. 10 minutes into the game, Hugo Ferrant threw the ball into play from the sideline. AnÐaRaHy's Cléberson Hermes quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Elói Mandrak's late challenge caught a Costa Rica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elói Mandrak helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to AnÐaRaHy getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Elói Mandrak hit a great ball. Eliseo Noboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Carlos Vargas having to interfere. Zé Carlos Vargas came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa. But to his dismay, Eliseo Noboa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 27 minutes, Cléberson Hermes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AnÐaRaHy and the Costa Rica players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when AnÐaRaHy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cléberson Hermes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 28 played minutes, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zé Carlos Vargas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Costa Rica reached it. AnÐaRaHy's Elói Mandrak quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Efrain Moruga, made in the 30th minute of the game. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when AnÐaRaHy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cléberson Hermes didn't get a good kick on the ball. The throw-in from Efrain Moruga in the 33rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by AnÐaRaHy's Elói Mandrak. After some careless play in the AnÐaRaHy defense, Eliseo Noboa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zé Carlos Vargas. The AnÐaRaHy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zé Carlos Vargas should have stopped the shot. AnÐaRaHy's Zé Carlos Vargas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Tasis in the 42nd minute of play. Zé Carlos Vargas came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa. But to his dismay, Eliseo Noboa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. AnÐaRaHy's attentive Cléberson Hermes managed to snatch the ball when Hugo Ferrant made a throw-in in the 46th minute of the game. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The throw-in from Efrain Moruga in the 53rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by AnÐaRaHy's Elói Mandrak. During the 54th minute of the match Cléberson Hermes completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Cléberson Hermes a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Cléberson Hermes kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After 56 minutes of play, Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zé Carlos Vargas was left in no man's land by his defense there! AnÐaRaHy's Emerson de Alcântara managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Hugo Ferrant in the 61 minute of the game. In the 63rd play minute Lautaro Puig came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Zé Carlos Vargas. 0-6. Zé Carlos Vargas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Axel Tasis in the 70th minute. Efrain Moruga made in the 77th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by AnÐaRaHy's Elói Mandrak. Hugo Ferrant made in the 80th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Lautaro Puig. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Hugo Ferrant got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Ruy Reis might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ruy Reis ran back to his position shaking his head. Chants of Costa Rica echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as AnÐaRaHy had held the ball for most of the match.
