After a defensive mix-up in AnÐaRaHy's zone, Christian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zé Carlos Vargas came out of the goal and Christian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zé Carlos Vargas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 57th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the game, Raúl Martins was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AnÐaRaHy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. The throw-in from Jacinto Campidelis in the 60th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Christian Sancho. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Sebastian Villa got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. When the final whistle sounded Honduras left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than AnÐaRaHy.
