Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sten Andrejević, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Luiz Corrêa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sten Andrejević went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sten Andrejević in the 23rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Sten Andrejević's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. After 25 minutes, Sten Andrejević made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of ROSÁRIO SPORT booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Chicote didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Sten Andrejević stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Sten Andrejević tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sten Andrejević blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Sten Andrejević sent off a good shot on target. After 42 minutes, Alex Chicote mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the ROSÁRIO SPORT players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Alex Chicote hit a great ball. Sten Andrejević sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sten Andrejević, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, ROSÁRIO SPORT's Bruno Félix got a free kick in the 50th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Sten Andrejević stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Sten Andrejević tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sten Andrejević's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alex Chicote kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Tomas Illescas's late challenge caught a ROSÁRIO SPORT's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomas Illescas helped the player get up and apologised. The audience was convinced that Sten Andrejević's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Sten Andrejević put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. ROSÁRIO SPORT made a substitution. Moises Bieito replaced Bruno Félix. ROSÁRIO SPORT's Douglas Basso was substituted for Sigvard Rosendal. ROSÁRIO SPORT were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dean Harvey took the corner. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Douglas Basso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. In the 80th minute Sten Andrejević shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sten Andrejević in the 83rd minute of play. Patricio Costa's late challenge caught a ROSÁRIO SPORT's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patricio Costa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 92ndth minute of the game Sten Andrejević who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by ROSÁRIO SPORT's Douglas Basso. But to his dismay, Douglas Basso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. When the referee ended the match the ROSÁRIO SPORT players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
