Through an outstanding action, after 10 minutes, Julio Vera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 11 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sebastian Mazierz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Everardo Mónos in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebastian Mazierz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by John Ström during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Silverdalen IFK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 18th minute. Penalty! 19 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sebastian Mazierz. Silverdalen IFK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sebastian Mazierz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 27th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Mazierz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 28 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Arias. 30 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sebastian Mazierz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Michel Ek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastian Mazierz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 33rd minute of play. Sebastian Mazierz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Arias, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Michel Ek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. If Stan De Werdt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sebastian Mazierz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The Silverdalen IFK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-2.
In the 51st minute, Gustav Nyström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 54 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Michel Ek hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Silverdalen IFK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 56th minute, when Felix Montenegro scored to the left of an out of position Sebastian Mazierz, making the score, 0-3. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Sebastian Mazierz made a huge save. The corner led Ecuador's Luis Andino to fire away a dangerous shot which Sebastian Mazierz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sebastian Mazierz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 65 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sebastian Mazierz. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Sebastian Mazierz made a huge save. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 80th minute. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sebastian Mazierz quite easily take care of the ball. Sebastian Mazierz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 87th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Sebastian Mazierz in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Silverdalen IFK's Sebastian Mazierz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 96th minute of play. The Silverdalen IFK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
