After a rather tough play, INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's Higinio Barros got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 24th minute, Doğaner Geylan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pepe Santoro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doğaner Geylan in the 26th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Haydar Uçkun in the 27th minute of play forced INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Pepe Santoro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's Pepe Santoro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Deput in the 29th minute of play. INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Higinio Barros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 42 minutes into the match, Ali Haydar Uçkun notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's Pepe Santoro. Pepe Santoro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 48 minutes, Luisito Jaen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luisito Jaen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's Candido Mincho was substituted for Fabio Victoro. The INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Çanakkale were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Fabian Deput made the kick off in the second half. Pepe Santoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Deput in the 56th minute of play. Ferdi Kargin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narciso Vergaray in the 59th minute of the match. Ferdi Kargin came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's Narciso Vergaray. But to his dismay, Narciso Vergaray quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Pepe Santoro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Haydar Uçkun in the 64th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Reis Ünsal dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pepe Santoro, 1-2. Pepe Santoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doğaner Geylan in the 76th minute of play. The throw-in from Candido Mincho in the 80th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Çanakkale's Sami Nahit. 83 minutes into the match, INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Doğaner Geylan came free, but Pepe Santoro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
