In the 3rd minute, Moise Tomulescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Còrdoba FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Hugo Fonseca's late challenge caught a Real Còrdoba FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hugo Fonseca helped the player get up and apologised. Hugo Fonseca hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Echezonachukwu Håland in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jesualdo Maltez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The corner led AD Pontassolense's Álvaro Carvalho to fire away a dangerous shot which Angelino Helguera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Real Còrdoba FC's Echezonachukwu Håland in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AD Pontassolense's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arthur Branco in the 15th minute of play forced Real Còrdoba FC's goalkeeper Angelino Helguera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Arthur Branco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Vítor Patrício came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the AD Pontassolense fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vítor Patrício couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, AD Pontassolense's Arthur Branco got a free kick in the 24th minute. Hugo Fonseca hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Fernando Portela kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After having played for 30 minutes, Moise Tomulescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Còrdoba FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moise Tomulescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Real Còrdoba FC's Baldomero Sotil was substituted for Celestino Marino. Jesualdo Maltez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Echezonachukwu Håland in the 35th minute of play. Real Còrdoba FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fernando Abascal in the 36th minute. After taking down the ball on Real Còrdoba FC's corner Echezonachukwu Håland fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jesualdo Maltez quite easily take care of the ball. 41 minutes into the match, AD Pontassolense's goal looked a bit too open when Arsenio Bento came free, but Jesualdo Maltez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Echezonachukwu Håland in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jesualdo Maltez saved AD Pontassolense from getting behind.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Echezonachukwu Håland was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, AD Pontassolense's Joaquim Palhares got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Echezonachukwu Håland's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 62ndth minute, Jesualdo Maltez skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Echezonachukwu Håland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Jesualdo Maltez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, AD Pontassolense's Jesualdo Maltez got control of the ball when Echezonachukwu Håland tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Hugo Fonseca was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 73 minutes had been played. A collision led to AD Pontassolense getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Hugo Fonseca hit a great ball. In the 76th minute, Moise Tomulescu made a precise shot to the right of Jesualdo Maltez. AD Pontassolense's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. AD Pontassolense's defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when Echezonachukwu Håland scored to the left of an out of position Jesualdo Maltez, making the score, 0-5. Jesualdo Maltez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Abascal in the 85th minute of the match. Real Còrdoba FC's Fernando Abascal got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Echezonachukwu Håland could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Jesualdo Maltez made a huge save. Gustavo Aguiar kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Moise Tomulescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Real Còrdoba FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
