The referee felt a red card was in order, 3 minutes into the game, when Wanderson Siqueira put in a rough tackle. A collision led to Goiás Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Wanderson Siqueira hit a great ball. After having played for 5 minutes, Harold Breugel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pannekoeken's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harold Breugel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Umberto Peres might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over René Batum. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Umberto Peres ran back to his position shaking his head. Natanael Paraense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dirk-Jan Vennegoor in the 9th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Marcus Diniz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Natanael Paraense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Floris Abbenbroek in the 14th minute of play. Giovanni da Rocha hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Natanael Paraense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martien Crans in the 16th minute of the match. René Batum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Diniz, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 21 minutes into the game, Marcus Diniz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. René Batum was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Natanael Paraense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joeri Das in the 25th minute of the match. Goiás Esporte Clube's Natanael Paraense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joeri Das in the 29th minute of play. When Marcus Diniz fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Goiás Esporte Clube's protests and gave Marcus Diniz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 32nd minute, Stephan Overmars hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Umberto Peres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Goiás Esporte Clube's Natanael Paraense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Floris Abbenbroek in the 38th minute of play. Pannekoeken's René Batum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Umberto Peres in the 40th minute of play. Umberto Peres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. René Batum tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Umberto Peres in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg René Batum saved Pannekoeken from getting behind. After 54 played minutes Goiás Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Marcus Diniz. Goiás Esporte Clube were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after Pannekoeken's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Umberto Peres took the corner. Natanael Paraense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joeri Das, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. The throw-in from Stephan Overmars in the 61st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Goiás Esporte Clube's Mike Tyson. Davi Isac sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Martien Crans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute, 夏天 赵云凡 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Umberto Peres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute, Marcus Diniz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Umberto Peres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Umberto Peres blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without René Batum having to make a save. If Umberto Peres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A sloppy throw-in by Stephan Overmars in the 91st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Goiás Esporte Clube's Mike Tyson. If Marcus Diniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Goiás Esporte Clube fully deserved thier win.
