Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) René Batum didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Koray Tibet went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 8 minutes into the match, Koray Tibet notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Pannekoeken's René Batum. René Batum was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. René Batum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İsmail Cem Eroğlu in the 11th minute of the match. Cristian Boniel took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised René Batum. René Batum dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. İsmail Cem Eroğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without René Batum having to interfere. René Batum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Koray Tibet in the 19th minute of play. Koray Tibet scored 0-4 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of René Batum, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Koray Tibet's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but René Batum was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Martijn Winters hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Koray Tibet blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without René Batum having to make a save. The attack was good, but when Reis Ünsal in the 29th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After some careless play in the Pannekoeken defense, İsmail Cem Eroğlu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of René Batum. The Pannekoeken fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that René Batum should have stopped the shot. İsmail Cem Eroğlu took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised René Batum. René Batum dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Koray Tibet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Çanakkale's supporters rose to their feet, but Koray Tibet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. René Batum breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Koray Tibet came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Çanakkale fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Koray Tibet couldn't finish the play. After the first half Çanakkale were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Joeri Das made the kick off in the second half. Pannekoeken's René Batum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Koray Tibet in the 52nd minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Çanakkale's İsmail Cem Eroğlu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that René Batum narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Koray Tibet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ferdi Kargin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stephan Overmars, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Koray Tibet might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over René Batum. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Koray Tibet ran back to his position shaking his head. Koray Tibet received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. René Batum came out and tried to block the shot, but Koray Tibet slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 65th minute. Roger Heide kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, İsmail Cem Eroğlu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of René Batum. Pannekoeken's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that İsmail Cem Eroğlu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. 78 minutes into the match, Pannekoeken's goal looked a bit too open when Koray Tibet came free, but René Batum reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Koray Tibet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Çanakkale's supporters rose to their feet, but Koray Tibet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. René Batum breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Pannekoeken's Joeri Das got a free kick in the 87th minute. If İsmail Cem Eroğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
