Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Koray Tibet in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jesualdo Maltez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 4th match minute, Çanakkale was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osman Ali Ayçetin to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of AD Pontassolense booed when Çanakkale was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sami Nahit didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th minute of the match Álvaro Carvalho shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ferdi Kargin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 19th match minute, AD Pontassolense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arthur Branco to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Koray Tibet in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jesualdo Maltez saved AD Pontassolense from getting behind. If Koray Tibet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jesualdo Maltez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Boniel in the 25th minute of the match. Gustavo Aguiar kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. If Cristian Boniel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the match, Arthur Branco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ferdi Kargin. Çanakkale's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arthur Branco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Renato Alves to make the kick off. Renato Alves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Ferdi Kargin made a huge save. A collision led to Çanakkale getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Tolga Tapgaç hit a great ball. AD Pontassolense's Renato Alves got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Renato Alves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Ferdi Kargin made a huge save. Murathan Mehmet hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. After 76 minutes Çanakkale's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Álvaro Carvalho who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Álvaro Carvalho got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ferdi Kargin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Çanakkale's Ferdi Kargin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arthur Branco in the 85th minute of play. After 86 minutes, Álvaro Carvalho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AD Pontassolense and the Çanakkale players grew even worse after the yellow card. AD Pontassolense's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
