When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Zbigniew Orling took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jesualdo Maltez to make any attempt to save it. Gabriel Andrade hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Radoslaw Czerwinski sent off a fantastic shot from long distance in the 20th minute of the match, a shot that made Jesualdo Maltez throw himself in all his length to reach the ball for the save just at the upper right corner. 22 minutes into the match, JUNICO Ełk's goal looked a bit too open when Renato Alves came free, but Artur Zapolskih reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teofil Mirowski got free with Jesualdo Maltez in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jesualdo Maltez made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Zbigniew Orling sent off a good shot on target. Zbigniew Orling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to JUNICO Ełk getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Mariusz Plaski hit a great ball. Zbigniew Orling struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Jesualdo Maltez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for JUNICO Ełk. AD Pontassolense's Jesualdo Maltez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zbigniew Orling in the 42nd minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Renato Alves made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Juliusz Gniewek had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jesualdo Maltez. AD Pontassolense's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juliusz Gniewek was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Jesualdo Maltez came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by JUNICO Ełk's Daniel Wojton. But to his dismay, Daniel Wojton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After some careless play in the AD Pontassolense defense, Zbigniew Orling kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jesualdo Maltez. The AD Pontassolense fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jesualdo Maltez should have stopped the shot. In the 65th minute, Zbigniew Orling left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The JUNICO Ełk fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. The corner went over the outstretched arms of JUNICO Ełk's goalie and right to Gustavo Aguiar. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. JUNICO Ełk's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tanek Liermann in the 91st minute of play forced AD Pontassolense's goalkeeper Jesualdo Maltez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. JUNICO Ełk had played much better football throughout.
