René Batum came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by AD Pontassolense's Herberto Meireles. But to his dismay, Herberto Meireles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. René Batum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arthur Branco, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. A collision led to AD Pontassolense getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Joaquim Palhares hit a great ball. Jesualdo Maltez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joeri Das in the 21st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arthur Branco in the 23rd minute of play forced Pannekoeken's goalkeeper René Batum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arthur Branco took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised René Batum. René Batum dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Nélson Bezerra hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Pannekoeken's Harold Breugel tried to score from far away in the 30th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 34th match minute, AD Pontassolense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim Palhares to maneuver through the defense. If Martien Crans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, AD Pontassolense's Ronaldo Barbosa got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute, Joeri Das hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 46 played minutes AD Pontassolense got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Aguiar. Floris Abbenbroek kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joeri Das to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Pannekoeken booed when AD Pontassolense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Álvaro Carvalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Pannekoeken's Roger Heide got a free kick in the 54th minute. Jesualdo Maltez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stephan Overmars in the 62nd minute of the match. Harold Breugel hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, AD Pontassolense's Ronaldo Barbosa got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the game's 81st minute Pannekoeken's Harold Breugel took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Jesualdo Maltez and thus the score was 1-4. Pannekoeken's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Arthur Branco scored to the left of an out of position René Batum, making the score, 1-6. Herberto Meireles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without René Batum having to interfere. René Batum came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by AD Pontassolense's Herberto Meireles. But to his dismay, Herberto Meireles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-7. AD Pontassolense's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
