Jovens Democratas MZC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paunero the free kick. Lúcio Cruz might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Modesto Theodore. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Modesto Theodore was left in no man's land by his defense there!

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marco van Basten made a kick off. Modesto Theodore didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Jovens Democratas MZC's Marco van Basten shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-4 in the ordered_time% minute. Lúcio Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lúcio Cruz got free with Modesto Theodore in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Paunero's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marcel Veiga was slow to take the kick. During this time Jovens Democratas MZC's players had a chance to rest. The crowd rose to their feet as Jovens Democratas MZC's Giuseppe Negri slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Modesto Theodore. That made the score 1-7 after 88 minutes of play. After 92 played minutes Jovens Democratas MZC got a freekick which was hit by Dominik Szoboszlai.
