In the 3rd minute, Marcus Diniz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Konstanty Kilarski was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Natanael Paraense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zachariasz Damaski in the 6th minute of play. Konstanty Kilarski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dênis Faria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 9 minutes into the match, Goiás Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Natanael Paraense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dario Llope. After 17 played minutes Goiás Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Valdir Neves. In the 19th minute, Dênis Faria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 21st minute, Dong Xuan Xi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Natanael Paraense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harri Kaine in the 29th minute of the match. The throw-in from Dong Xuan Xi in the 35th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by JUNICO Ełk's Zachariasz Damaski. After 39 minutes JUNICO Ełk's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Valdir Neves who took care of the corner kick. Valdir Neves made a great header on Goiás Esporte Clube's corner, it was just that JUNICO Ełk's Konstanty Kilarski managed to reach the ball for a save. Dario Llope hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Goiás Esporte Clube's Valdir Neves tried to score from far away in the 43rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcus Diniz to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Barrera in the 52nd minute of play forced Goiás Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Natanael Paraense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Natanael Paraense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Barrera, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 59thth minute of the game Marcus Diniz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but JUNICO Ełk's Konstanty Kilarski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Natanael Paraense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harri Kaine, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After 64 played minutes Goiás Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Giovanni da Rocha. When Radomir Zieba came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the JUNICO Ełk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Radomir Zieba couldn't finish the play. JUNICO Ełk's Franek Sowa was substituted for Radomir Zieba. When Goiás Esporte Clube's Dênis Faria in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye JUNICO Ełk's goalie prevented a goal. Goiás Esporte Clube's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Valdir Neves in the 79th minute. The audience was convinced that Umberto Peres's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Konstanty Kilarski was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. In the 85th minute, Rikard Træden left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The JUNICO Ełk fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rikard Træden in the 88th minute of play forced Goiás Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Natanael Paraense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Goiás Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Rikard Træden came free, but Natanael Paraense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. JUNICO Ełk's Armando Barrera got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 91st minute Franek Sowa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natanael Paraense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The JUNICO Ełk fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Goiás Esporte Clube were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
