Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nikifor Stoimenov in the 11th minute. 17 minutes into the game, Mexico's Luca Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stoil Simidchiev made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petko Margin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute Nikifor Stoimenov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nikifor Stoimenov showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 33 minute of play. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Joel Gaona advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-3 in the 47th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 54th minute, but Stoil Simidchiev got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving FC Famozo9 hanging dry this time. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 55th minute. Luca Rouco made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that FC Famozo9's Stoil Simidchiev managed to reach the ball for a save. A collision led to FC Famozo9 getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. After 83 played minutes FC Famozo9 got a freekick which was hit by Miro Pankev. In the 88th minute of the match FC Famozo9 got a corner. Mexico's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dobri Dinev ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led FC Famozo9's Malin Petrinski to fire away a dangerous shot which Dante Lacasa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Mexico's Joel Gaona sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stoil Simidchiev narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 91st minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Joel Gaona almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Famozo9's Stoil Simidchiev did a great save. After 96 played minutes FC Famozo9 got a freekick which was hit by Tzvyatko Stanishev. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Mexico walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
