Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olof Derksen in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 11th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Heli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Danilo Heli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 16th minute of the match. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Trinidad 4.7's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Mexico's corner Joel Gaona fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Danilo Heli quite easily take care of the ball. In the 32nd minute Olof Derksen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Gaona scored 0-2 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Danilo Heli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Olof Derksen made a kick off. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Danilo Heli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Danilo Heli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute Olof Derksen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Trinidad 4.7 getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Emmanuel Mammana hit a great ball. Danilo Heli was a little too slow when Joel Gaona got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 66th minute. The score was now 0-3. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Heli having to interfere. Trinidad 4.7 made a substitution. Leo Ochoa replaced Alejo Gurutz. Luca Zorita struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Danilo Heli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Danilo Heli was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Joel Gaona showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 82 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luca Zorita got free with Danilo Heli in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Ochoa in the 95th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
