Primitivo Escribano hit a great ball. Jaime Pardos short, quick shot in the 9thth minute got Toader Cojan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 14th minute, Gigel Paveliuc got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 17th minute Robert Covaliu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd match minute, ⚽RAE⚽ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maxim Șerbulea to maneuver through the defense. Maxim Șerbulea hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Jaime Pardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paraguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaime Pardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Toader Cojan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Paraguay getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Alan Campos hit a great ball. Jacobo Nores didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gigel Paveliuc went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Maxim Șerbulea kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the game, Alin Moiș threw the ball into play from the sideline. Paraguay's Raul Venegas quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a defensive mix-up in Paraguay's zone, Gigel Paveliuc stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal and Gigel Paveliuc tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Robert Covaliu to strike the kick off in the second half. Robert Covaliu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in ⚽RAE⚽'s zone, Hector Covarrubias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Toader Cojan came out of the goal and Hector Covarrubias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ⚽RAE⚽'s Damian Oneț got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Toader Cojan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Pardo in the 63rd minute of play. After 69 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Prats. Paraguay's Primitivo Escribano quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Robert Covaliu, made in the 79th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, ⚽RAE⚽'s Maxim Șerbulea got a free kick in the 80th minute. Toader Cojan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Pardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hector Covarrubias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toader Cojan having to interfere. Damian Oneț fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Paraguay lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
